Definition
The data protection declaration of Architrave GmbH is based on the terms used by the European legislator when issuing the basic data protection regulation. These are explained in detail in Article 4 of the DS Block Exemption Regulation.

Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke your consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal notification by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The competent supervisory authority for data protection issues is the Landesdatenschutzbeauftragte von Berlin. However, they may in principle contact any data protection authority. Right to data transferability
You have the right to have data which we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible person, this will only be done as far as it is technically feasible.
Information, correction, blocking, deletion
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing and, if applicable, a right to correction, blocking or deletion of this data.

Data security
We have taken technical and organisational security measures to protect your data. Our employees are obliged to observe data secrecy. Furthermore, we use encryption procedures. The information you provide is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security). Our security measures are continuously adapted in line with technological developments.
Usage data
This website is provided on a server of our service provider. Certain data is automatically transferred and stored there. This data processing is limited to the technically necessary scope in order to be able to present the website correctly. It concerns the following information:
- the referrer URL (the website you came from);
- the operating system you are using and the browser you are using during your visit;
- the date and time of your visit.
This information is used to detect and defend against attacks. They cannot be assigned to a specific person and are not merged with other information. As soon as this information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised. The data will be stored by the service provider for a maximum of 7 days. The legal basis for the processing of usage data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form including the contact data you provided there will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal notification by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data entered by you in the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will at least store your e-mail address. You can voluntarily provide further information that enables us to address your target group. The data provided will be used exclusively for sending the newsletter. The legal basis for sending newsletters, measuring success and storing the e-mail is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO in conjunction with § 7 para. 2 no. 3 UWG and for recording consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO, as this serves our legitimate interest of legal provability.
Data protection for applications and in the application process
Applications sent to us electronically or by post will be processed electronically or manually for the purpose of processing the application process.
We expressly point out that application documents with “special categories of personal data” according to Article 9 DSGVO (e.g. a photo which gives information about your ethnic origin, religion or marital status) are undesirable, with the exception of a possible severe disability which you wish to disclose at your own discretion. You should submit your application without this data. This has no effect on your chances of applying.
Legal bases for the processing are Art. 6 Para. 1 S.1 lit. b DSGVO as well as § 26 BDSG n.F..
If an employment relationship is entered into with the applicant after completion of the application procedure, the applicant data will be stored in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations. If you are not offered a position after completion of the application procedure, your application letter and documents will be deleted 6 months after dispatch of the rejection in order to be able to satisfy any claims and obligations to provide evidence under the AGG.
We offer you to be included in our “applicant pool” for a period of 6 months on the basis of a consent in the sense of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and Article 7 DSGVO. The application documents in the applicant pool will be processed solely within the framework of future job advertisements and the employee search and will be destroyed at the latest after the deadline. Applicants are informed that their consent to their inclusion in the applicant pool is voluntary, has no influence on the current application procedure and that they can revoke this consent at any time for the future and declare objections within the meaning of Article 21 DSGVO.
Google Analytics
This website uses the web analysis service Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses “cookies”. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is anonymized before storage.
If you do not agree with the storage and use of your data, you can deactivate the storage and use. To do this, you must download and install a browser add-on from the https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout link. This browser add-on informs Google Analytics via Javascript that no data and information about visits to Internet pages may be transmitted to Google Analytics. Google AdWords is integrated into this website. Google AdWords is an Internet advertising service that allows you to place ads in both Google’s search engine results and the Google advertising network. The purpose of Google AdWords is to promote our website by displaying advertisements of interest on the websites of third parties and in the search results of the Google search engine and by displaying third-party advertisements on our website. In the Google advertising network, the ads are distributed to relevant Internet sites using an automatic algorithm and in accordance with the keywords defined beforehand.
If you access our website via a Google advertisement, a so-called conversion cookie is stored on your computer by Google. Social media plug-ins
We use social media plug-ins from social networks on our website. After activation, the social network provider receives the information that you have visited our website and that your personal data is transferred to the plug-in provider and stored there. We have no influence on the collected data and data processing procedures. We also have no knowledge of the scope of data collection, the purpose of processing and the storage periods. Also for the deletion of the collected data by the plug-in provider no information is available to us.
